Pay per Click (PPC) or Cost per Click (CPC) is an Internet
advertising model used to direct traffic to websites. This is where
you get paid by advertisers when their ad is clicked by a visitor.
Pay per Sale (PPS) affiliate program pays you whenever you market
their products and someone actually buys it -- think Clickbank.
Whereas with Cost per Action (CPA) or Pay per Lead (PPL), you get
paid for every lead that you generate. This is where you receive a
commission for each visitor who fills out a lead form (for example;
an insurance company who pays you $40 for each person that you get
to complete a questionnaire).
There are some people who make a nice living off of all these
affiliate programs, but don't forget that what one person uses to
make an income might not earn you a single dime!
